Years, Mate, causes, hormones, heard, release, intercourse, attaches

Heard that intercourse causes a release of hormones that attaches you to your mate for 2-4 years?

A lady mentioned this on Tyra. That if you have sex with someone, your body releases all these hormones that make you feel good. This makes your brain want to be with them and causes an emotional attachment with them that lasts for 2-3 (or 3-4?) years.

I thought I heard something like that too, that most divorces end up being by the 4th year because of this... and that the attachment lasts that long b/c that's approximately how long it would take (if we lived like cavemen) to rear a child enough so that they can somewhat fend for themselves.

Has anyone heard this and where could I find the research to back it up?
